Candle Care Tips

To get the most out of your Dead Wax Candle, follow these simple steps:

  1. Trim the Wick
Always trim the wick to ¼ inch before each burn. This helps prevent soot, uneven burning, and large flames.

  2. Let It Burn
On the first burn, allow the wax to melt all the way to the edges of the container. This prevents tunneling and ensures an even burn every time.

  3. Burn Safely
Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep it away from pets, kids, drafts, and anything flammable.

  4. Don’t Burn Too Long
Limit each burn session to 3–4 hours. This keeps your candle safe and extends its life.

  5. Keep It Clean
If you notice soot or debris in the wax, let the candle cool and gently wipe it out before your next burn.

  6. Burn on a Heat-Safe Surface
Always place your candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface to protect furniture and avoid accidents.

  7. Stop at ½ Inch
Discontinue use when about ½ inch of wax remains. Burning past this point can overheat the container.

  8. Store Smart
Keep your candle in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve its scent and shape.
